BazaarSteps is for learning. Here’s what that means, and what it doesn’t.
Education, not advice
Our lessons explain how money, saving, credit and investing work in general. They aren’t financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and they don’t take your situation into account. Nothing in BazaarSteps tells you to buy, sell or hold any stock, fund, cryptocurrency or other product.
No products, no trading
BazaarSteps isn’t a broker, dealer, adviser or bank, and it isn’t registered with any securities regulator. You can’t trade or buy financial products through it. We don’t take referral fees and don’t show ads. Sponsors may help pay for free access, but they don’t decide what our lessons say.
Examples and simulations
Real market data in a lesson shows its source and date. Made-up numbers are labelled as examples. Simulations and past results don’t predict the future. Investing involves risk, including losing money.
Accuracy
Finance reviewers check our lessons, but mistakes can happen, and rules, tax limits, rates and products change. Check important facts with official sources, such as government websites. If you spot a mistake, flag the question in the app or write to us.
Your decisions
Decisions about your money are yours. Before a big decision, consider talking to a qualified professional who can look at your situation, such as a licensed financial planner or adviser. If you’re a teen, talk it over with a parent or another adult you trust.
Watch out for scams
BazaarSteps doesn’t ask you to invest, send money or buy crypto, and doesn’t ask for passwords or sign-in codes. The only thing you can buy is Pro, through the App Store. If someone claiming to be us asks for any of that, it’s a scam: don’t answer, and tell us at contact@bazaarsteps.com.
